The method
What exactly does breathwork do to your body? How to reset your nervous system in five minutes. Backed by science, ready to use straight away.
Read about the methodA few minutes for yourself, or two hours with me alongside. At your desk, on the train, or in a room in the Zandvoort area. I am Sjoerd Righolt, and I work in English too, also in Haarlem and Amsterdam.
The green button starts a chat with Ada, my WhatsApp coach. Ada only speaks Dutch for now, but will be speaking English soon.
You do not have to go anywhere and there is nothing to download. Drop your shoulders, and breathe along with the circle for two minutes.
This is exactly what happens every day when Ada walks alongside you. A few minutes that are yours alone, at the moment you need them. The first two weeks are free and you do not leave any payment details in advance. Ada only speaks Dutch for now, but will be speaking English soon.
Your body is sounding the alarm, but your head wants to keep going a little longer. I know the feeling: even on my way to the hospital I was still working. I did not want to hear what my body had been trying to tell me for a long time.
When pushing harder no longer helps, it is time to reset.

Every day you get a few minutes that are yours alone.
Ada is trained on Sjoerd's approach, so you notice straight away what daily guidance feels like. No app to download, no account, no payment. Simply experience what calm breathing does for you. Ada only speaks Dutch for now, but will be speaking English soon.
Meet AdaYou send Ada a message on WhatsApp and you have started. The first two weeks are free, without payment details in advance.
A few minutes of breathing together every day. Ada knows your rhythm and adapts to your day, busy or quiet.
You do not have to go anywhere or keep track of anything. After a few weeks you notice that stopping gets easier, and that your head and your body move in the same direction again.
No app, no account, no logging in. On Sunday Ada looks back with you, steers your week ahead and walks alongside you during the week. The screenshots below are in Dutch, because ada only speaks Dutch for now, but will be speaking English soon.
On Sunday you look back, during the week you breathe along, Ada adjusts.
Four things almost everyone thinks at this point. They are all fair, so they are simply here.
That is probably true, and that is why it takes two minutes. Not forty-five minutes on a mat. It is the time you already spend scanning your screen before the next meeting starts. You just noticed above how long two minutes really are.
That is a real amount, and it is stated openly. What you get for it is tailored guidance every day, a weekly plan that moves with your week, and someone who notices when you drop out. You stop with a single message, and the first two weeks cost nothing and ask for no payment details in advance.
Familiar. The problem with apps is that they wait for you to take action. And on an overfull day, that is exactly what slips.
Ada turns it around: she simply sends you a message on WhatsApp. Nothing to install, no account to create and no logging in. What is more, she remembers what was going on last week, so you never have to tell your story all over again.
You do not need to know yet. Two free weeks, without payment details in advance, are meant for exactly that: you notice for yourself what it does for you before there is anything to decide. And if you breathed along for two minutes above, you actually know a little already.
I waited far too long myself. I was in a taxi on the way to the hospital and just kept working. My body already knew, I just did not want to hear it. I would not wish that detour on you, and that is why the first step here is free.
Ada asks whether you really want to stop or would rather pause for a while, and then stops it. No phone call, no email and no cancellation screen to get through.
What you have already paid for, you keep: your access runs until the end of the period you paid for.
In two minutes you breathe yourself calm. Prefer a session in English with me? Book a 1-on-1 session, or plan a free 20-minute introductory call first.
